I’ve spent nearly three decades working in publishing, communications, and public-facing roles where accuracy, judgment, and clarity matter.
I’ve written, co-written, or contributed to more than a dozen books, working in long-form research, narrative nonfiction, and public communication. That work required structure, discipline, and accountability. Those skills carry directly into how I approach communication strategy.

Public-Sector Experience
I served 12 years as an elected municipal councillor and as a member of multiple municipal and regional boards.
In those roles, I worked in environments where decisions were scrutinized, information was incomplete, opinions were strong, and consequences were real. That experience shaped how I think about communication once it moves through institutions and into the public.
The Work I Do
When organizations hire Soaring Pig Studios, they work directly with me. I develop the strategy and produce the work. There is no handoff and no separation between planning and execution.
Depending on the engagement, that work can include photography, video production, graphic design, campaign assets, web content, internal materials, and social media.
This work is not about volume. It is about communication that holds up under scrutiny and messaging that lands with the intended audience.
How I Work
Most communication problems are not caused by bad intent. They are caused by poor framing, missing context, or a failure to anticipate how something will be received once it leaves the room.
A large part of Soaring Pig Studios value is identifying those issues early, before they become public problems or reputational damage.
The goal is not more content. The goal is better content with more clarity.
