Soaring Pig Studios works with a small number of organizations where clarity, credibility, and execution matter.
This work is not built around volume or production quotas. It is built around judgment, context, and communication that holds up under real-world conditions.
Most engagements are ongoing relationships, not one-off projects. The value comes from understanding the system, the audience, and the consequences before material is released.
Below are examples of the kind of work I do.

Roseridge Waste Management Commission
I serve Roseridge under contract as their Communications and Marketing Specialist, supporting internal operations, board communication, municipal stakeholders, and public-facing education.
The work spans public education, operational messaging, board materials, campaign development, and visual storytelling. Much of the value comes from translating technical systems, policy, and infrastructure planning into information residents and decision-makers can actually understand and use.
What this work includes
- Clear public-facing program and policy communication
- Board and stakeholder materials that reduce friction and misinterpretation
- Campaign planning and execution across web, print, and social
- Video, photography, and design that support understanding rather than promotion
“I have complete trust and confidence in Stephen. His integrity, reliability, and consistent high standards make him someone I deeply respect. Pleasant Homes Ltd.
Pleasant Homes builds modular homes. Much of the communication challenge is correcting outdated assumptions and helping people understand what modern modular construction actually is.
My role has included strategic storytelling, photography and video production, and messaging that reframes the product without defensiveness. The goal is confidence, not hype.
The work focuses on showing quality, process, and care in a way that feels grounded and credible to real buyers.
What this work includes
- Benefit-driven messaging that reframes perception
- Photo and video assets that show quality and precision
- Social content tied to real inventory and buyer concerns
- Campaign support aligned with seasonal and market realities
“Pleasant Homes worked with Soaring Pig Studios on a project showcased at our 2024 MHAPP conference, where it was exceptionally well received. Thanks to their outstanding work, our organization was honoured to receive the MHAPP Award for Excellence in the Commercial/Industrial category.”

Hi-Tower Inc.
Hi-Tower is a heavy equipment and civil construction company operating in high-stakes environments where reputation, capability, and trust matter.
The work focuses on presenting that capability clearly and professionally, without overstatement. Materials need to match the level the company operates at and be deployable quickly when timelines are tight.
My role has included website support, brand and project visuals, and practical marketing assets that don’t feel improvised.
What this work includes
- Website and brand support aligned with a high-standard operation
- Project visuals and media that build credibility
- Design and writing for client-facing materials and events
- Fast-turnaround assets when clarity and timing matter
“Hi-Tower Inc. has been using Soaring Pig Studios for over two years. They created and monitor our web page, which has received numerous compliments. Their knowledge, creativity, and zero-nonsense work ethic are refreshing. They always meet our timelines, even on short notice.”
Aaron Bokenfohr
President, Hi-Tower Inc.
How This Work Is Different
This is not agency work and it is not high-volume marketing.
Strategy is developed alongside the material that carries it forward. Planning and execution stay connected so it doesn’t collapse when it meets real constraints.
Much of this work happens in environments where mistakes are public, permanent, or politically costly. Messages don’t just need to sound good. They need to hold up under scrutiny, pressure, and real-world consequences.
